Brandon Kaye is an investment sales advisor at Besen Partners with a focus on the Brooklyn commercial real estate market.
Brandon brings over ten years of landlord representation experience from previously managing rent stabilized multifamily and mixed-use buildings. His understanding of managing real estate from an operational standpoint creates value for his clients in identifying ways to increase revenue as well as cost reduction strategies. He is well versed in local law compliance, DHCR guidelines, lease enforcement, maintenance, and violation clearing.
Brandon started his career on Wall Street as a credit analyst at Argo Partners, a boutique private equity firm and later became a distressed debt sales trader at Seaport Global Securities focusing on high-yield investing in corporate turnarounds. Brandon has brokered the sale of over $250M of heavily discounted corporate bankruptcy claims in receivership. Some notable cases he’s transacted in were General Motors, Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities, Lehman Brothers, American Airlines.
Brandon graduated from The Kelley School of Business at Indiana University with a Bachelors of Science in Finance and Psychology. Brandon has completed a certificate program in financial markets from Yale, with coursework taught by world renowned economist Robert Shiller.
