Job Description/Requirements:

An Office Property Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of an office building, including managing tenant relations, handling maintenance requests, ensuring compliance with building regulations, collecting rent, and maintaining the overall physical condition of the property to optimize its financial performance and tenant satisfaction. Must have a minimum of 5 years of office property management experience.

 

Key responsibilities of an office property manager:

 

Tenant Management:

  • Processing lease agreements and tenant applications
  • Communicating with tenants regarding maintenance requests, lease renewals, and building updates
  • Addressing tenant concerns and resolving disputes
  • Enforcing building rules and regulations

 

Maintenance and Operations:

  • Overseeing routine maintenance and repairs of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical)

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Tenant Management:
    • Respond to tenant inquiries and concerns related to maintenance, lease agreements, and building policies.
    • Conduct resident move-in and move-out inspections, documenting condition of units.
    • Collect rent payments and address late rent issues.

The candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills, as there is constant client interaction via telephone and in person. An aptitude for marketing is also essential, and candidate should have a eye for organizing and presenting information. The National Investment Sales Team at Besen Partners is seeking highly motivated individuals to join their Fall Internship Program.
