The Senior Portfolio Manager will supervise a team of 5 senior property managers and supporting staff for a well-established NYC-based firm that has been in business for 30 years.

The Besen Group is seeking to hire an experienced mortgage broker as a Managing Director, Senior Mortgage Broker to lead and grow its NYC focused commercial mortgage brokerage affiliate, Besen Capital.

In this position at Besen Retail you will be working for a boutique retail leasing team which is part of The Besen Group, a well-established, full-service commercial real estate firm in Manhattan. The job responsibilities include showing retail space to potential tenants, canvassing for new listings, marketing to landlords and potential tenants, researching space and prospective tenants. Primary role involves canvassing to originate listings of vacant stores for lease. Please note that this is a commission-based brokerage opportunity with unlimited potential to succeed for hard drivers.

The Broker will work under sales leadership team on multi-family, retail, mixed-use, development and office building transactions ranging anywhere in size from $1 million to $500 million. You will be expected to generate leads, cultivate client relationships and interact with active New York City investment property investors and owners.
