Job Description/Requirements:

Associate will work under Sales Director on multi-family, retail, mixed-use, development, hotel and office building transactions ranging in size from $1 million to $150 million. You will be expected to generate leads, cultivate client relationships and interact with active New York City investment property investors and owners. Note that this is a commission-based real estate sales opportunity, draw on commission is available for qualified candidates.

The candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills, as there is constant client interaction via telephone and in person. An aptitude for marketing is also essential, and candidate should have a eye for organizing and presenting information. In addition, ability to research property details while analyzing and determining value are necessary skill sets along with attention to detail, organization and creativity.

Responsibilities:

  • Originate new business opportunities by prospecting and generating leads
  • Represent principal investors in acquisitions and dispositions of real estate
  • Help manage sale process to successfully market, negotiate and execute transactions
  • Utilize company CRM to organize lead pipeline & investor information
  • Cultivate client relationships with property owners and investors
  • Develop in-depth understanding of market dynamics and asset values
  • Become an active member in the commercial real estate industry

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Must have a real estate Salesperson license
  • Must be highly driven self-starter comfortable with sales practices including extensive cold calling
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with high emotional intelligence
  • Basic understanding with commercial real estate financial metrics
  • Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently

Training:

  • Initial on-boarding program

You will be expected to generate leads, cultivate client relationships and interact with active national investment property investors and owners. Note that this is a commission-based real estate sales opportunity.

The candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills, as there is constant client interaction via telephone and in person. An aptitude for marketing is also essential, and candidate should have a eye for organizing and presenting information. In addition, ability to research property details while analyzing and determining value are necessary skill sets along with attention to detail, organization and creativity.
