Niko joined Besen Partners in 2015 and is focused on investment sales for various asset classes throughout New York City. Prior to joining Besen, he worked as a retail leasing broker at a competitor, where he was a territory expert throughout Queens.

Niko specializes in the sale of development sites and industrial properties in the New York Metropolitan area.

Niko was born in Tbilisi Republic of Georgia. In 1991, he came to the United States as a part of exchange between his school and group of 12 U.S. colleges, a program which he orchestrated. He opted to continue his studies here, and moved down to New Orleans to attend Loyola University and University of New Orleans Jazz Performance programs. He had performed nationwide in many festivals and renowned venues around the country and still performs in NYC jazz and club scene.

Niko later graduated from ICE Culinary Arts & Restaurant Management Program with honors in 2009. He worked in every aspect of hospitality industry culminating in managing the iconic Russian Tea Room. While scouting locations for his own restaurant and viewing almost 200 spaces in Manhattan/Williamsburg/Greenpoint areas, he realized that he had more interest in the properties he was viewing and decided to pursue a career in real estate. Niko holds BA in Deep Drilling and Mining Engineering from Tbilisi Technical University.

Niko was a visiting member of the Tulane University Rugby club, and in 1992 became a founding member of the Rugby Club at Loyola University. He was a champion in The Republic of Georgia and a Georgian Cup winner in rugby.
