Steven Fuchs

Mr. Fuchs rejoined Besen Partners in August of 2003 as the Director of Sales. With 20 years of experience selling and financing investment properties in the tri-state area, his return to the firm which he co-founded has had a major impact. Mr. Fuchs began his career in 1983 with the investment sales & mortgage brokerage firm Robert P. Corso & Company. While at Robert P. Corso & Company, he utilized his strong negotiating skills to become one of the leading salesmen in the industry. Having executed several hundreds of millions of dollars of successful sales transactions and mortgage financings, Mr. Fuchs has established a plethora of industry relationships and an inherent instinct for the best way to get a deal done. Mr. Fuchs left Robert P. Corso & Co. in January of 1988 to form Besen-Fuchs & Associates. In May of 1988, he and Michael Besen opened the doors of the firm known today as The Besen Group. Prior to rejoining Besen & Associates, Mr. Fuchs formed and operated Fuchs & Company Real Estate Services, Inc., a management and development company focused on the hospitality industry. In this capacity he approached properties from an owner’s perspective, which has increased his overall ability to identify with landlords and their points of view. From 2004 to 2006, Mr. Fuchs was responsible for managing the 30-person investment sales force generating over $600 million in annual sales volume. He also provided training for the firm’s newer brokers. He took over the Residential division in 2008, and is primarily focused on landlord representation, renting apartments in approximately 80 buildings throughout New York City. Mr. Fuchs graduated from Emory University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.
